Air Show, Zoo and Potterybarn Kids

We just got in from a weekend with my parents. There was an air show in Ada this weekend and my dad was Air Boss for it. Basically, he just told the planes when to take off and stuff. It was really neat but the weather was bad. It was cloudy for most of the morning but then the clouds lifted during the afternoon and made for some great spectating. The planes were World War 2 planes and Zann got to take a ride in one from the movie Pearl Harbor! He was excited. He had to sign a waiver and the guy said, "Hey did they tell ya the pilot is 90?" And then Zann kinda looked at him funny. Then the guy said, "No I'm just kidding. He's only 80." And he really was. But Zann landed safely on the ground after about 15 minutes in the air on the Zero torpedo plane. Then we celebrated Father's Day today and came home. Jen and Casey went with us too. It was fun. I had fun at least. Ethan seemed to enjoy himself as well.

Friday we went to the zoo with Jen and the kids she babysits. It was hot but we walked around anyway. We saw the Fins and Feathers show...always a good choice. Ethan got to see gorillas, giraffes, lions, fish, rhinos, elephants and the list goes on. He was sacked out by about 11:30 so we headed home. Then, Friday evening we walked around the mall and ventured into Potterybarn Kids. If you want to know of something to get Ethan for his 1st birthday or for Christmas then check out the pictures below. Well that's it. Our weekend in a nutshell. Now I need to unpack a little before church this evening. Hope everyone has a fantastic week. I'll be teaching the preschoolers at Memorial Road's VBS! Should be fun.

Picture Time

My 3rd week of not working has come and gone already. I can't believe it. I have so much extra time now that I've kept my house clean, gone grocery shopping and have actually cooked and I've gotten to spend soooo much more time with my precious Ethan! I highly recommend staying home with your kids if you can. It's the best job ever. Well I thought y'all would like to see some new pictures. So here ya go...

This was this morning at breakfast. It's no big news that Ethan is a messy eater. He seems to like it...oh well.

After breakfast, he had a bath. He LOVES the water. He can finally sit up in the tub and play with his toys. He's such a big boy!

This is his new big boy carseat that we got this week. He absolutely loves it! Mom loves it too. It's got loads of cool features and is so easy to get him in and out of. I'm glad we made the upgrade!

Ethan has started army crawling (pulling himself along the floor with his hands) and it's hysterical. He also goes everywhere in his walker! He'll follow me around now. It's so cute. I got a bumper for his crib b/c he's been getting his legs and arms stuck. I just got an ecru colored one from Babies R Us and changed the ties to fabric to match his room. I'm really proud of myself for doing that much sewing. I'll try to take a picture sometime. Well now it's time to get ready for the day. We've got haircuts to get (me and Zann). Have a great weekend!

2 Babies...Only 1 of Me

Today I'm watching a friend's baby and my own. So far it's been easy. I've changed several poopy diapers and fed both of the boys. Ethan slept his usual time and Eliot ate during that time. I even had time to take a shower and get completely ready! Now Eliot is swinging in the swing asleep and Ethan is banging around in his Exersaucer (kicking his keys underneath him. He's so loud!) Angela, Eliot's mom, will come feed him during lunch and he should be good to go after that. He's a laid back baby like Ethan. He can hold his passy in his mouth and he's not very old like 8 weeks or so. Ethan hates his passy...he's a thumb sucker! I'll try to take some pictures of the 2 boys together and post those later. As for now, I'm going to try to get some laundry done. Peace out...

1461 Days

That's how long we've been married! Today is my 4 year wedding anniversary. I can't believe it! We've been through some ups and some downs but I find myself loving Zann more and more each and every day!
Happy 4 year anniversary honey! I love you!
